SPRING 2026 COLLECTION

Where Oklahoma Porches Come Alive

Porch installations for Oklahoma homes and businesses.

The Restoried Porch Guide was created not simply to decorate a porch — but to root something living there. Each container is designed to bring movement, welcome, and quiet beauty to the entrance of a home or place of work.

In Oklahoma, porches belong not only to houses but also to storefronts, offices, studios, and gathering spaces. These containers are meant to welcome people in, an extension of the life and work that happens inside.

Restoried Gardens grew out of a simple belief: that tending living things, even in small containers, can restore beauty, rhythm, and peace not only to the spaces we inhabit, but to the people who tend them.

A Porch Worth Lingering On

There’s a certain kind of porch that invites you to stay a little longer.

A place where a glass of iced tea sweats quietly on the table while the afternoon settles into a slower rhythm. Where the breeze carries the scent of herbs and warm soil. Where children drift in and out of the yard as the noise of the day softens at the edges.

It is the kind of porch where you find yourself breathing deeper without realizing it.

For generations, porches were made for this kind of lingering, a gentle pause between the outside world and the quiet life unfolding inside the home.

The Restoried Porch Guide was created with that vision in mind.

Not simply to decorate a porch.

But to root something living there.

Each container is planted with intention: height for presence, movement for softness, and space for growth. What begins on installation day continues to unfold quietly in the weeks that follow.

Leaves stretch outward.

Spillers soften the edges.

Color settles into its rhythm.

This is not instant color.

It is the season of becoming.

Not sure if your container will work? Submit the request anyway — I'm happy to review your space and confirm everything before scheduling.

The Collection

The Restoried collection is a curated series of porch containers designed for Oklahoma homes and businesses.

Each arrangement blends airy height, layered texture, and welcoming seasonal color, installed for immediate beauty while planted with the coming weeks in mind.

As the season unfolds, containers soften, grow fuller, and settle naturally into the space.

Plants are selected from the healthiest seasonal stock available at the time of planting. Exact varieties may vary slightly based on availability, but the overall design structure and color palette remain consistent.

A Living Addition

The Porch Kitchen Garden

Some of the most meaningful porch containers are not only beautiful — they are useful.

A Porch Kitchen Garden is a small container planted with culinary herbs designed to live just outside your door.

Rosemary, basil, thyme, oregano, and sage bring fragrance to the porch and flavor to the kitchen.

Step outside while dinner is cooking.

Snip a few leaves.

Return to the stove with something that was alive only moments before.

These containers are often planted in rustic wood crates, cedar planter boxes, or vintage vessels that feel natural to the home.

Herb containers can be installed as a stand-alone porch feature or paired with one of the Restoried seasonal designs.

Plant availability varies throughout the season, but herbs may be requested when submitting your installation form.

Typical Porch Kitchen Garden installations range from approximately $225–$300 depending on container size.

Installation investment is calculated at $14 per inch of container diameter, with a $225 minimum installation.

Availability depends on seasonal plant supply.

What Makes a Container?

At Restoried Gardens, a container is more than a planter.

It is simply a vessel that holds living soil and the possibility of growth.

Some containers are traditional porch pots.
Others are objects that already carry a story.

An old wash basin.
A weathered watering trough.
A wooden produce crate.
A child’s red wagon.
A vintage enamel bucket.
A forgotten wheelbarrow.

When soil and plants are placed inside them, these everyday objects begin to change.

They soften.
They gather life.
They become something new.

At Restoried Gardens we sometimes call these pieces Living Heirlooms — containers that carry both plants and story.

A porch container can be simple.

Or it can be something unexpected that reflects the life of the home it belongs to.

If you have a vessel that feels meaningful or unusual, you are always welcome to include it as part of your installation request.

Some of the most beautiful Restoried containers begin that way.

Restoried Gardens offers custom container designs for any porch or vessel.

Custom installations may include

  • Unique container sizes or unusual shapes

  • Coordinated paired installations

  • Specialty color palettes

  • Architectural foundation containers

  • Multi-container porch groupings

  • Vintage or heirloom vessels

How to get started

Custom designs are quoted individually based on vessel size and plant selection. Simply select Custom Request on the installation form to begin.

How to Measure

Measuring your container

Measure the widest opening across the top of your container from one side to the other. This measurement determines the amount of soil and plant material needed to create a balanced design.

If you are unsure, you may include a photo with your request and measurements can be confirmed before installation.

Caring for Your Restoried Porch

Beautiful containers are not only planted well — they are cared for well.

Each Restoried arrangement is designed to grow more beautiful as the season unfolds. As plants stretch toward the light and spill softly over the edge of their vessels, the container begins to settle into its place at the threshold of your home.

Because porch containers are living plantings exposed to Oklahoma’s changing weather, thoughtful care helps protect the investment and allows the design to continue evolving throughout the season.

Many homeowners enjoy tending their containers themselves. Others appreciate a little support along the way.

Self-Tended Porch

(Restoried Container Care Kit – $35)

A simple care kit designed to help homeowners confidently care for their containers throughout the season. Each kit includes water-soluble fertilizer and a clear feeding guide using the same approach used in professional container installations.

Restoried Porch Refresh

(Seasonal Refresh — Most Popular)

As summer deepens and early blooms begin to fade, a seasonal refresh replaces select flowers and trailing plants while preserving the healthy structure of the original planting. This allows the container to remain vibrant and balanced as the season continues.

Typical refresh investment: 20–40% of the original installation cost.

Container Preparation

(Clean-Out Service – $25 per container)

Before planting, containers should have the top 6–8 inches of old soil and plant material removed to allow space for fresh soil and healthy root growth. If needed, Restoried Gardens can prepare containers prior to installation.

Whether you prefer to tend your containers personally or invite a little help along the way, thoughtful care allows your Restoried porch to remain welcoming, abundant, and alive throughout the season.

Restoried Container Care Kit

Beautiful containers require ongoing care to continue performing throughout the season. While every Restoried Gardens installation includes high-quality soil and a slow-release fertilizer to support early growth, containers benefit from additional feeding as the season progresses.

Each kit includes:

  • water-soluble fertilizer selected for your container design

  • a measuring scoop for easy application

  • a simple feeding schedule

  • a printed care guide tailored to container plantings

The kit makes it easy to support your plants with the same care approach used in professional container installations.

Care Kit Add-On: $35

This optional kit helps keep containers performing beautifully through the season while giving homeowners confidence in how to care for their plants.

Limited Seasonal Availability

Installations are intentionally scheduled in limited numbers while seasonal plant supply remains available. Once installation slots are filled, the schedule closes until the next planting window. If you are hoping to welcome a Restoried container to your porch, early reservation is recommended.

What to Expect

Design inspiration images reflect containers slightly grown in.

At installation your container will be freshly planted and structured, then it will continue to soften and fill out as the season progresses.

You will receive a printed care guide with clear watering and seasonal guidance.

Because each container is a living creation, its longevity depends on consistent care from its owner.

Every container is planted with intention; not just for today, but for the season ahead. As spring transitions into summer, many designs can be refreshed with new seasonal accents to keep your porch feeling alive and renewed.

Restoried Gardens provides guidance for watering and seasonal upkeep; however, each container is a living creation. Its longevity ultimately depends on consistent care and attention from its owner.

A Restoried container is planted not simply for the day it arrives, but for the season ahead.

As the weeks pass, plants stretch toward the light, spillers soften the edges of the vessel, and color settles into its natural rhythm. With thoughtful care, containers often become more beautiful as the season unfolds.

Unlike plants rooted in the ground, container gardens live in a smaller world. Their soil volume is limited, nutrients are gradually used by the plants, and Oklahoma summer heat can place significant stress on even the healthiest arrangements.

Without consistent care, containers may begin to decline earlier than expected. Leaves may lose color, growth may slow, and the balance of the design can gradually shift as some plants outgrow others.

This does not mean the installation has failed. It simply means the container is responding to the natural conditions of the season.

For this reason, many Restoried clients choose to support their containers with a seasonal refresh so the arrangement continues thriving long after installation day.

Many homeowners reserve their refresh when confirming their installation so their porch remains beautiful throughout the entire growing season.

Caring for Living Containers

Field Note

Containers often look their most beautiful two to three weeks after planting and, with proper care, that beauty can continue through the entire season.

Many Restoried containers can be refreshed later in the season with new plants and accents to keep your porch feeling vibrant and alive as summer unfolds.

As spring transitions into the intense heat of late summer in Oklahoma, some seasonal plants naturally begin to fade. A refresh replaces selected blooms and trailing elements while preserving the healthy structure of the original planting. This allows the container to continue evolving rather than starting over entirely.

Many clients choose to plan their seasonal refresh when scheduling their initial installation so their porch remains beautiful throughout the entire growing season.

Refreshes are scheduled in limited numbers during late summer while seasonal plant material remains available.

If you are interested in a seasonal refresh, simply mention it when submitting your installation request.

Seasonal Refresh

40–60%

OF ORIGINAL CONTAINER INVESTMENT

Seasonal refresh installations typically range from approximately 40–60% of the original container investment, depending on plant selection and the amount of material being replaced.

Some clients already have pots they love and want refreshed. Others prefer for Restoried Gardens to source containers that complement their home’s style.

Both options are available and can be discussed during the request process.

  • Yes. To ensure healthy planting conditions, containers should have the top 6–8 inches of old soil and plant material removed before installation.

This allows space for fresh soil and helps new plants establish properly.

Many clients choose to prepare their containers ahead of time. If you prefer, Restoried Gardens is happy to handle the clean-out for you for a small additional fee. Simply mention this when submitting your installation request.

  • Yes. To ensure a smooth installation, please make sure containers are in their final planting location and easily accessible before your scheduled appointment.

This includes clearing furniture or obstacles from the planting area and ensuring pets are secured during installation.

Preparing the space ahead of time helps us complete your installation efficiently and ensures the best possible result.

  • Plant selections are based on the lighting conditions and environment where the containers are located.

During the request process, Restoried Gardens relies on the information provided about sun exposure and location. Because outdoor conditions can change throughout the season, plant performance cannot be guaranteed in every situation.

Our goal is always to select plants that are well suited to your space and will thrive in the conditions available.

  • Design inspiration photos represent the overall style and structure of the planting.

Exact plant varieties may vary depending on seasonal availability and quality from growers. Restoried Gardens always selects the best available plants to achieve the intended look and feel of the design.

  • Yes, and they will continue to improve.

Your installation will look beautiful the day it is planted. As the plants settle in and begin growing, the containers will naturally fill out and become even more lush over the following weeks.

Newly planted containers may look slightly stressed for a day or two after installation. This is normal as plants adjust to their new environment.

  • Seasonal containers are designed to grow and become more lush over time.

With proper watering and basic care, most spring and summer plantings remain beautiful for several months.

As the season progresses, some plants naturally slow down or fade. Many clients choose to schedule a seasonal refresh so their containers remain vibrant throughout the entire growing season.

  • Plants are living elements and respond to weather, watering, and environmental conditions.

Restoried Gardens provides clear care guidance after installation, but the ongoing health of each container depends on how it is maintained.

Many clients choose to protect their investment by reserving seasonal refresh or maintenance services so their containers remain vibrant throughout the season.

  • Yes.

Some clients enjoy caring for their containers themselves using the care guide provided. Others prefer the peace of mind of having their containers professionally refreshed during the season.

Because availability is limited, many clients reserve seasonal refresh services when scheduling their initial installation.

  • Because each installation involves design time, sourcing, travel, and professional planting, Restoried Gardens typically accepts projects that include two or more containers or meet a minimum project investment.

This allows us to provide the level of care and quality our clients expect.

  • Restoried Gardens serves clients in the greater Oklahoma City area and surrounding communities.

If you are unsure whether your location falls within our service area, you are welcome to submit an installation request and we will confirm availability.

  • Plant health and planting conditions matter. Occasionally installation dates may need to shift due to extreme weather conditions.

If this happens, Restoried Gardens will communicate promptly and reschedule for the next appropriate planting window.

  • Spring installation slots fill quickly and are limited each season.

Submitting an installation request early gives you the best chance of securing a place on the schedule.

  • Simply submit the Installation Request Form.

If your project is a good fit for the current schedule, Restoried Gardens will follow up with next steps and installation options.

  • If you’re ready to elevate your porch with a Restoried Gardens installation, the next step is simple.

Submit the Installation Request Form to share a few details about your space, containers, and the look you love.

From there, Restoried Gardens will review your request and reach out with next steps if your project is a good fit for the current installation schedule.

Because each installation is designed and planted by hand, availability is limited during peak planting seasons.
